What you can bundle
- Buildings and contents
- Liability and legal expenses
- Car, scooter and caravan
- Travel and cancellation
A package is not a separate insurance policy but a way of bundling your policies: one policy schedule, one payment date, one point of contact and a discount that rises as you take more sections.

In a private insurance package you bring your separate policies together in one agreement: buildings, home contents, liability, legal expenses, motor, travel and whatever else you need.
The benefit is threefold: package discount which usually rises with each section added, one renewal date instead of ten different ones, and one file in which everything is together at a claim.
It is not an automatic saving. A package is good value if the individual premiums are in line with the market. If one section is considerably more expensive than elsewhere, the discount cannot make up that difference. That is why we calculate both options.
We compare your insurance package across dozens of insurers, explain where the real differences lie, and arrange the switch from start to finish — without you having to chase it yourself.

Get coveredThe structure of the cover in three parts, with an overview per situation below.
Almost every private policy can go into the package.
The discount rises with the number of sections.
A clear overview and one point of contact at a claim.
What is covered
| Point | Package | Separate policies |
|---|---|---|
| A discount for holding several policies | Yes | No |
| One policy schedule and payment date | Yes | No |
| Choosing the keenest provider for each section | No | Yes |
| One point of contact for claims | Yes | Sometimes |
| Cancelling an individual section without consequences | No | Yes |
| Automatically the best cover | No | No |
This overview is general in nature and is not personal advice. What is actually covered, including exclusions, limits and the excess, is set out in the policy conditions and the insurance card (verzekeringskaart) of the insurer; you receive both before you take out cover. Taking out cover without advice? Then read what execution only means for you.
Insurers weigh these details differently. That is where your saving is.
We look at the terms as well as the premium, and stay your point of contact when there is a claim.
We are not tied to one insurer and compare on the basis of an objective analysis of several companies.
You call or email someone who knows your file. No menu options, no changing call centres.
We cancel your old policy and align the start date, so you are never a day without cover.
We report the claim and monitor how it is handled. In urgent cases you can reach us on the emergency line.
Customers rate our service on four aspects: personal service, service delivery, availability and the outcome. The reviews are collected and published by NH1816 and come from customers who have actually taken out a policy with Finass Advies B.V. or reported a claim.
Four points that make the difference between a policy that pays out and one that does not.
Compare the package premium with the total of the keenest individual policies. If one section is expensive, the discount will not make up for it.
If you take a section out, the discount on everything that remains goes down. Take that into account before you cancel anything.
A package says nothing about the quality of the underlying cover. Look at the conditions for each section, not just at the total price.
Moving house, a new car or a refurbishment often affects several sections at once. That is precisely the practical advantage: one notification is enough.
This is what people ask us most.
An agreement in which several private insurance policies are brought together. You get one policy schedule, one payment date and a discount that rises with the number of sections.
No. It is better value if the individual premiums are in line with the market. If one section is expensive, the discount cannot make up that difference. We calculate both options for you.
You can, but it lowers the discount on the remaining sections. Work out what is left on balance before you do so.
Yes, and for related losses that is a real advantage. In a fire, for example, the damage affects both your building and your contents; those are then handled in one file.
Usually yes, at each contract renewal date. We map out the notice periods and make sure no gap in cover arises.
The exclusive package is intended for higher values: wider limits, valuations instead of value calculators and personal claims handling.
