Collective business travel insurance
As soon as more than a few people travel for work, arranging cover trip by trip becomes unworkable. A group policy covers everyone automatically, without prior notification.

In brief
Group business travel insurance covers all employees who travel for your organisation, without your having to report anything for each trip. The premium is calculated on the basis of the number of travel days or the salary bill.
The practical difference lies in the emergency assistance centre: one number that your employee and your office can call in the event of illness, an accident or an incident abroad, twenty-four hours a day.
This page deals with one part. The overview of all parts is on the main page on business insurance.
What to look out for
No need to register each trip
Everyone who travels for work is covered. That saves administration and prevents anyone leaving uninsured.
Emergency assistance centre and availability
In an incident abroad that is the most important element. Ask about the service, not just about the cover.
Accompanying partners
If a partner travels along now and then, have that expressly insured. It is not covered as standard.
Travel advice and high-risk countries
If you travel to areas with an increased risk, report it. Some destinations call for a separate arrangement or are excluded.
What determines the premium
- Number of travel days per year
- Number of employees and payroll
- Area of cover
- Destinations and risk profile
- Modules chosen
This information is general in nature and is not personal advice. What is actually covered, including exclusions and the excess, is set out in the policy conditions and the insurance card (verzekeringskaart) of the insurer; you receive both before you take out cover.
Customers rate our service on four aspects: personal service, service delivery, availability and the outcome. The reviews are collected and published by NH1816 and come from customers who have actually taken out a policy with Finass Advies B.V. or reported a claim.
Frequently asked questions
Do I have to register every trip?
No. Under a group policy everyone who travels for work is covered automatically; the premium runs through travel days or the salary bill.
Are accompanying partners covered?
Not as standard. Have that expressly insured if it happens regularly.
What does the emergency assistance centre do?
It arranges medical help, hospital admission, repatriation and communication with your office, twenty-four hours a day. In practice that is the core of the policy.
Are high-risk countries covered?
Destinations subject to a negative travel advisory are generally excluded. Separate arrangements are possible for increased-risk areas.
What is covered and what is not

| Situation | Basic | Extended |
|---|---|---|
| An employee who left this morning without your having reported anything | Yes | Yes |
| Hospital admission in Bangkok, including a medically supervised return journey | Yes | Yes |
| A laptop stolen from your account manager's hotel room | Provided that | Yes |
| Attendance at a trade fair that falls through because the traveller fell ill | No | Provided that |

| Samples and demonstration equipment that your representative takes in his case | No | No |
The convenience lies in the automatic cover; the limits lie in who travels along and what is in the case.
