What is a sloop?
The sloop has become the Dutch favorite boat in recent years. Being sloops comfortable, easy to drive and ideal for sailing with family and friends. They often have a classic, timeless design with lots of wood and brass details.
Sloops are built in many variants: from clinker models (Interboat, Enkhuizensloep) up to smooth-bored sloops (Antaris, Maril), and van pointed hole sloops (Jan van Gent, Seafury) to mirror boats. Also vlettand and tandders fall under this category.
