A lot can go wrong during construction: fire, storm, water damage, theft or a construction error. CAR insurance (Construction All Risk) covers material damage to the work in progress, building materials on the construction site and optional auxiliary equipment.
As an ongoing employee, you are responsible for several construction projects per year. Without CAR insurance, damage will be at your own expense or it will lead to discussion with the client. Clients are increasingly demanding in the specifications that the work is insured.
You can choose from a continuous CAR (for multiple projects per year) or an expiring CAR (per project). We are happy to advise you on the best choice for your situation.

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
A conventional absenteeism insurance (daily allowance insurance) works with a deductible in days (waiting days). You pay the wages yourself during the deductible period, after which the insurer will reimburse the daily wage per day of illness for up to a maximum of 2 years.
You choose from 10, 20, 30, 65, 130 or 260 working days. Companies with up to 10 employees usually choose 10 days. More waiting days = lower premium but higher risk. Choose based on your financial buffer.
The premium is between 1.5% and 4% of the wage bill, depending on industry, absenteeism, deductible period and coverage percentage. With 10 waiting days approx. 3-4%, with 130 waiting days approx. 1.5-2%.
With conventional you have more control and flexibility, the premium is often lower but more dependent on your absenteeism figures. With unburdening you will receive full guidance, a case manager and a Gatekeeper Guarantee.
Not standard, but you can optionally insure occupational health and safety services. You will often receive a discount (e.g. 2.5%) if you opt for occupational health and safety services through the insurer. An occupational health and safety contract is legally required.
Not standard with conventional insurance. Gatekeeper guarantee (reimbursement for UWV wage sanctions) is usually only included in the SME absenteeism relief insurance. Ask about the possibilities.
The benefit starts as soon as the deductible period (waiting days) has expired. With 10 waiting days, so after 2 weeks of illness. The benefit is usually paid monthly in arrears.
Ideal for SMEs with up to 25 employees who want to maintain control, want a lower premium and are prepared to implement their own absenteeism policy. Especially popular with companies up to 10 employees.

The case manager is your permanent point of contact and 'director' of the absenteeism process. He/she guides you and your employee, monitors deadlines, draws up an Action Plan, coordinates with the company doctor and ensures that you comply with the Gatekeeper Improvement Act.
The premium is calculated over a large group of entrepreneurs with both high and low absenteeism figures. Your own absenteeism counts to a limited extent, so you pay a more stable premium without major fluctuations in case of high absenteeism.

The insurer will then reimburse this extra continued payment of wages (maximum 1 year extra). This way you do not run the risk of continued payment of wages for 3 years.
The premium is between 2.5% and 4.5% of the wage bill, depending on industry, workforce and selected coverage. This is higher than regular absenteeism insurance, but you get much more service.
Ideal for SME employers who want to outsource complete control, receive maximum guidance and do not have the capacity or expertise to carry out absenteeism tasks independently.
Yes, all interventions that the case manager deems necessary for reintegration will be reimbursed up to 100%. This includes treatments, training, adjustments and guidance prescribed by a company doctor or case manager.

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
If you follow the advice of the case manager/insurer and UWV still imposes a wage sanction, the insurer will reimburse this additional continued payment of wages. This way you are protected against unexpected costs.
Optioneel kunt u Co-insurance of employer's costs (vakantiegeld, pensioen, sociale premies).
