The Estrima Birò is the iconic Italian electric moped which is popular in cities such as Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Utrecht. With its unique design, transparent doors and premium finish, the Birò is a statement on wheels.
Because the Birò is a Moped car is with max. 45 km/h, it is covered by moped insurance - not by car insurance. This means: No road tax and drive from 16 years with AM driving license.
The insurance premium for a Birò starts from approx €25 per month (WA). Due to the higher new value (from €15,995), the premium is higher than for other microcars. Important: make sure that the Battery also insured is!
🏆Premium Italian Design
The Birò has been produced by Estrima in Pordenone, Italy. The unique design is characterized by transparent (smoked) polycarbonate doors, a 3mm thick steel tube frame and premium finish. The Birò combines the maneuverability of a scooter with the comfort of a car.
With a width of only 107 cm and length of 174-183cm the Birò is the smallest electric four-wheeler on the market – perfect for narrow streets and sidewalk parking.

⚠️ Please note: License plate vs Disabled vehicle
The Birò is available with license plate (motorized car insurance) or without license plate (disabled car insurance). Check which variant you have! A Birò with a license plate must be insured as a microcar - you cannot insure it as a disabled vehicle. Without a license plate, different rules and insurance apply.
