AIXAM is Europe's largest producer of microcars. Produced in Aix-les-Bains (France) since 1983 with a unique aluminum chassis and double pressed plastic. No less than 95% of the material is recyclable.
The range consists of the compact City, sporty Coupe, spacious Crossline/Crossover and budget-friendly Minauto. All models are available as diesel and 100% electric (eAixam) with up to 130 km range.
Because an Aixam one Moped car is with max. 45 km/h, he is covered by moped insurance. This means: No road tax and drive from 16 years with AM driving license. The insurance premium starts from approx €20 per month (WA).

Aixam is a pioneer in the field of electric microcars. The eAixam range (e-City, e-Coupé, e-Crossover) offers quiet, clean and economical driving with lithium battery technology.
Charging via regular 230V socket. 1 hour of charging = 25 km driving range. Regenerative braking for extra range. 0% CO2 emissions, 0% noise pollution.
⛽ Aixam Diesel – Kubota Engine
All diesel Aixam's are equipped with the reliable Kubota two-cylinder diesel engine. Economical, quiet and meets Euro 5 emission standards.
Automatic transmission standard. Euro 5 engine. Low CO2 emissions. Diesel variants available for City, Coupé, Crossline and Crossover.

Aixam was founded in 1983 in Aix-les-Bains (France). The brand took over the bankrupt Arola factory and grew into Europe's largest moped manufacturer. Two factories in the Auvergne/Rhône-Alpes region produce 12,000 vehicles annually on 8 hectares of land. The unique aluminum chassis Double pressed plastic makes Aixam's light, strong and durable – 95% recyclable.

Aixam offers a lot accessories such as air conditioning, reversing camera, touchscreen, winter set and extra batteries. Include this amount in your policy for full coverage. Some insurers impose requirements stable (inside/closed) and security (ART slot class 3/4, GPS tracker). Tuning or speed unlock can exclude coverage.
