What is Hobby Tractor Insurance?
A hobby tractor insurance has been specially developed for private individuals who own a tractor for hobby, collection or small jobs. Whether you have a beautiful vintage tractor has for shows and tours, or a hobby tractor for mowing the lawn and collecting wood: good insurance is mandatory.
According to the WAM (Motor Vehicle Liability Insurance Act) every tractor must be at least third party insured. Since 2025 A license plate is also required for all agricultural vehicles, including vintage cars and hobby tractors.
There are two main types: the classic car tractor insurance for tractors older than 30 years (rides and events) and the hobby tractor insurance for private jobs with a trailer.
