Why take out an AVP?

Accidents can easily happen. You accidentally drop a vase at a friend's house, your child shoots a ball through the neighbor's window, or your dog drops a cyclist. The financial consequences can be enormous – especially in... personal injury costs quickly add up hundreds of thousands of euros.

A liability insurance for private individuals (AVP) protects you against these financial risks. For just €2.50 to €7.50 per month you are insured up to €2,500,000 per event – including your partner, children and pets.

Although an AVP is not legally required, most Dutch people choose it. At Finass Verzekert we compare AVPs from 30+ insurers, so that you find the best coverage for the best premium.
