Techart Automobildesign GmbH got up April 2, 1987 founded by Thomas BehrInger, Reinhold Mattes and Matthias Kraus in Fellbach, Germany. In 1988 the head office moved to Leonberg, near Stuttgart and Porsche's home base.

As a recognized independent car manufacturer, TechArt specializes exclusively in refining Porschemodels. From aerodynamics and power upgrades to complete interior refinements – everything is developed in-house with wind tunnel tests. In 2008 TechArt won the prestigious Tuner Grand Prix.

The current offering includes the 911, Cayandne, Panamera, Macan, Boxster/Cayman and Taycan. Top models such as the GTstreet R (800 hp) and Magnum (930 hp) are collector's items. Insurance costs average €150-€800 per month.

📜 TechArt History: 1987 – Present

Thomas BehrInger founded TechArt with the philosophy of creating cars that combining artistic perfection with technologically advanced features. Starting with interior refinements for Porsche, Mercedes-Benz and BMW, TechArt specialized exclusively on Porsche from 1989 onwards.

In 1991 TechArt debuted at the IAA Frankfurt. It CT3 program for the 993 (1995) and the GTstreet program for the 996 Turbo (2001) established TechArt's reputation. In 2008 the GT Street RS the Tuner Grand Prix with a Nürburgring time of 7:33.

Today TechArt operates from a state-of-the-art facility in Leonberg with 75+ employees. In 2021, TechArt introduced the GTstreet R (87 pieces); in 2024 the GT Street R Touring (25 pieces); and the newest in 2025 Magnum with 930 hp.

⚡ GTstreet R: Ultimate Performance

The Techart GTstreet R transforms the Porsche 911 Turbo S into the ultimate street-legal weapon. Limited to 87 copies (referring to the founding year 1987) it combines extreme performance with everyday ease of use.

The heart is the TA092/T2.1 power kit: improved turbos, new engine management software and optimized transmission control. Result: 800 hp and 950 Nm couple. The 0-100 sprint only takes 2.5 seconds; top speed is 350 km/h.

💨 Wind Tunnel-Tested Aerodynamics

TechArt's aerodynamic components are developed with wind tunnel tests. The GTstreet R produces 4x more downforce in the back and 45% less lift at the front than a standard 911 Turbo S at 140 km/h.

All parts are made from high-quality carbon fiber, available in high-gloss or matte finish. From front splitters to rear spoilers – functionality comes first.
