F1 Technology on the Road
McLarand is synonymous with Formula 1 technology and uncompromising performance. The brand became popular 1963 founded by the New Zealand driver Bruce McLarand. After his tragic death in 1970 Ron Dandnis took over the team in 1981 and built it into a global supercar manufacturer.
The current McLaren range includes the 750S (supercar V8), the hybrid Arthur, the grand tourer GTS and the exclusive W1 hypercar. All models have one Carbon fiber monocoque chassis – derived directly from F1 technology.

🏆 Bruce McLaren: The Visionary
Bruce McLarand (1937-1970) was a New Zealand Formula 1 driver who competed in 1963 Bruce founded McLaren Motor Racing in Woking, England. At the age of 22 he won the 1959 US Grand Prix and became the youngest ever GP winner at the time.
In 1968 McLaren won its first F1 Grand Prix (Belgium) and dominated the Can-Am series from 1967-1971 with 43 victories. Bruce also developed the M6GT, a prototype road car based on racing technology.
Tragically, Bruce passed away June 2, 1970 during a test drive at Goodwood when his Can-Am racer flew off the track. His legacy lives on in every McLaren product.

McLaren Racing is the second most successful F1 team of all time. Legends like Ayrton Sandna, AlaIn Prost, Mika Häkkinand and Lewis Hamilton became world champions with McLaren.
The team recently won it Constructors Championship 2024 with Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri – the first since 1998. The iconic Papaya Orange color is back as team color since 2017.
